Shanghai ShiKuMen for #AsiaFoodFest
Shanghai cuisine is the newest type of food on my radar. Although I am a quarter Chinese, and for most parts, look Chinese, it’s difficult for many to understand that the only type of Chinese food that I’ve devoured for my first 20 years of life was a $5.50 food court standard of pick…
Asia Food Fest 2016: Where have I gone?
I love prix-fixe menus, it’s like being carried through a set-up tasting journey set. Asia Food Fest, described as a “Winterlicious/Summerlicious for Asian cuisines” has rolled out from April 29th to May 15th exclusive to Asian restaurants with over 60 participants! KAKA All You Can Eat for #AsiaFoodFest
Let’s first off start by saying I am not a fan of all-you-can-eat places, as I feel as though I am forced to eat until a pop… so that already cancels me out as a valid critic. I made my visit during this round with no intention of thinking “but I can eat everything!!!…

A Foodies Dream: Zomato X FoodismTO
As rich and well-weaven Toronto is in embracing and spreading the latest food news, I have felt that there has been one part missing in the city’s ever-sharing food scene. I enjoy the flick through US foodie mags both online and physically, but, beyond the recipes, the magazines don’t entirely click with my lifestyle. Here to…
The Shoushin Experience
Shoushin… Oh, Shoushin. Where should I start? The food was great and the service from the staff members were excellent, but, with that being said, my overall experience SUCKED. I left this $300+ meal with disappointment and the worst feeling I’ve had after a restaurant meal. Keep in mind that this is an Omakase restaurant (chef’s choice) which really means my meal is up to the discretion of the chef.
