Toronto, you have got to meet the latest apple to my eye, the Taiwan-based artisan bakery: Bake Code. Bake Code has landed in Yonge & Sheppard, a block North from Sheppard Station granting aromatic wafts of freshly baked bread. Granting Asian and European baking techiniques, they play at a self-serve Asian bakery style, with a clean rustic and spacious touch. Their current opening hours are 8AM for that morning pick-me-up to 12AM, a midnight treat!

We were welcomed into the space for their soft launch, and boy, was it a treat for the eyes, tongue and nose!

You can smell it.

It’s been a great turn out since their open, today will officially welcome their grand opening with a bread cutting ceremony at 10:30AM, they’re even having a buy three get one free for a limited time. You must join in on the fun!

What’s great?
Blackboard by the hour showing items that will be out of the oven and ready to grab, they will also project the updates through their Twitter page
Plenty of tasting samples available and many stations. (Challenge: Resisting to fill yourself up before making your way to the cashier)
– Exclusive spot to grab a delicious iced sea salt coffee and green tea
Chatime also exclusively available at this location, two charmers in one.
