Chicken wings are my favourite thing ever. I miss the late night BBQs and the ridiculous amount of chicken wings drenched in it’s glorious overnight marinade ready for me to chuck on the barbie for me to feast on. Those days, long gone, so I am to satisfy my chicken wing cravings elsewhere, here was Coopers Pub…

Upon entry, we are greeted by these few month old candies and nuts.
Seated for eight in a spacious pub at 10PM, we were led to our booth by a grumpy waitress
They had nice comfy couches for customers to come, chill and watch TV.
Now, there were a vast range of types of chicken wing flavours you could order… 25 of them! We came here believing that the chicken wings were at 10c/ea, but the waitress was quick to give an annoyed look and told us to tell her once we find a place that does that. But she did end up telling us of the 45c/wing special. It is pretty odd how this special isn’t posted anywhere on their menu.
You could also order 1 Lb of wings for $9.99, 2 Lb for 18.99 or 3 Lb for 27.99, all served with carrots, celery and ranch or blue cheese. After 4PM until closing at Coopers Pub, you can get the wings for 45c/ea for House Sauced ones and 55c/ea for Premium Sauced ones – having to order in lots of tens for each flavour!
We ended up grabbing the following:
House Sauces (45c/ea):
BBQ
Honey Garlic
Spicy Honey Garlic
Smoked Honey Garlic
Suicide
Dusty Cajun
Carribean Jerk
Sweet Chili
Premium Sauces (55c/ea):
BBQ Ranch
Coconut Curry
Pineapple Curry
 1. Strongbow Cider ($18.56)
Tasted like…. slightly bitter juice.
After 20 minutes, we received our first (and only, or so we believed) round of wings! Here we have:
House Sauces (45c/ea):
BBQ
Honey Garlic
Spicy Honey Garlic
Smoked Honey Garlic
Caribbean Jerk
Sweet Chili
Premium Sauces (55c/ea):
BBQ Ranch
Pineapple Curry

Anything Honey Garlic is fantastic! Another of my favorites were the Ranch sauced ones. I loved how saucy and sticky these were. The Pineapple Curry was an interesting taste, you could definitely taste the hints of pineapple in there. The Caribbean Jerk is one I wouldn’t order again if I had the choice, way too busy with many spices going on. The rest, were plain ol’ average, and how would you expect.
Anything free, I’m at it! My first try at playing darts, out of three goes I had at throwing three darts, this was the only set I got on the board…
And, of course there is a Canadian flag on the dart.
And for round two, which we were only going to order a few of – I’m a bit rocky with my memory on these – there was a 25 minute wait on these and we had:
 House Sauces (45c/ea):
BBQ
Honey Garlic
Smoked Honey Garlic
Suicide
Dusty Cajun
Premium Sauces (55c/ea):
Coconut Curry

The Suicide was definitely a kick compared to the other chicken wing sauces which were meant to be spicy. The bites of chili seeds in there were easy to avoid though! The Dusty Cajun was, different from the other wings, it was indeed entirely powderly and over spiced. Where as the Coconut Curry was good ol’, good ol’, I would definitely order this again!

With an easy peasy $20 each, it was home time!
Great night, cheap wings, terrible service. The wings were perfectly saucy, but I expect a bit more of succulent bite. The wings are also much, much smaller than what I’m use to nibbling on. I want to try the Honey Mustard wings next time around!
